Since the bygone days of old, school photography has consisted of head and shoulder photos of the children in school uniform and/or group class photos either taken outside or in the school hall.

After conversations with the PTA committee of Brooklands School in Sale, the idea was suggested that Funky Foto could provide a family photograph ‘day’ for families of children who attend the school. Instead of the usual school uniform, blue background photos, families could come along have photos done of their children, with siblings or as a family group.

A trial day was suggested using a local Scout hut where 10 families were photographed, the photos were viewed there and then and the choices made.

The photos were delivered later that same week. Funky Foto have a much more relaxed style of portraiture and the photos were very well received by our ‘trial’ families. The idea was taken further with the purchase of a large Format professional photo printer which can produce amazing quality photographs.

Since then, Funky Foto have held fun-raising family days for schools, Parent teacher Associations, Playgroups and organisations throughout the North West; and many have already re-booked for the next two years.
